In honor of Global Running Day, DC Road Runners will once again hold our annual mile time trials.

The event will consist of several dedicated mile heats, and we will be offering pace guidance for paces ranging from 10:00+ to a sub-5:00 pace. If you are a DC Road Runners member, please consider volunteering to serve as a pacer. (Pacers can also run in their selected heats.)

The formal event start is at 7:00 pm, followed by a brief warm-up. The first heat will run at approximately 7:10 pm. Runners are encouraged to arrive early in order to find parking and to be able to add additional warm-up time as you would like.

As is customary for our Wednesday night track workouts, participants are welcome to celebrate afterward by joining us for dinner and drinks at one of Arlington’s many fine bars.
