Shaare Torah Jewish Community, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Interfaith Families Project of Greater Washington (IFFP), Trinity Lutheran Church, and The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community have partnered to create the Montgomery County Interfaith 5k.  Since 2016, the event has been bringing people from diverse backgrounds together with the goal building respect, fostering friendships, and creating a healthier Montgomery County. In 2026, we will celebrate the 10th running of this meaningful event.

The Montgomery County Interfaith 5K is an inclusive event, designed to bring together people of different backgrounds to meet, socialize and work together to better the entire community. While many attendees are people of faith, the event respects all backgrounds and does not embrace any one religion or belief system. Religious services, proselytizing and preaching are not part of the public program and should not be practiced at the Montgomery County Interfaith 5K.
