DC Road Runners Age-Graded 4-Miler

  • Carderock Recreation Area Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Towpath Potomac, MD United States (map)

Age-Handicapped 4-Miler is an annual race held every July 4th to celebrate Independence Day and the club's founding. Unlike a standard race, it features a staggered start based on age and gender, aiming to have all participants finish closer together.

The Goal: The "winner" is the first person to physically cross the finish line, regardless of their net running time.

All runners should bring a small random prize to the event. The more random, the better. Each runner will have the opportunity to pick from the pile of random prizes based on their overall place.
