Where to Run a Turkey Trot in the DMV This Year

Thanksgiving falls on November 26 this year, and the DMV has plenty of races ready for you before the turkey comes out of the oven. We rounded up seven turkey trots across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, from a 5K at Freedom Plaza to a 10-miler through Seneca Creek State Park. Five of them run on Thanksgiving morning. The other two give you options on either side, with a tune-up 5K in Chevy Chase two weeks early and a Saturday run in Gaithersburg to work off the leftovers.
